High Speed Vibration Coming From The Rear Of The Vehicle
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the rear propeller shaft.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to Ram vehicles built between October 17, 2013 (MDH
1018XX) and December 17, 2013 (1217XX) and Wrangler vehicles built
between October 16, 2013 (MDH 1018XX) and December 17, 2013 (1217XX). In
addition, this bulletin is limited to the following:
• Regular Cab Ram Truck (DS/DX) with 6.5 Foot Box Equipped with 3.6L
Engine (Sales Code ERB) and Automatic 8-Speed Transmission (Sales
Code DFL)
• Regular Cab Ram Truck (DS) with 6.5 Foot Box Equipped with 5.7L
Engine (Sales Code EZH) and Automatic 8-Speed Transmission (Sales
Code DFD) and Either the 3.21:1 Axle Ratio (Sales Code DMC) or 3.92:1

SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
Customers may indicate that they feel a vibration coming from the rear of the vehicle at
speeds between 80 kph (50 mph) and 120 kph (75 mph).
DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair. For all other
customers that describe the symptom/condition, perform the Repair Procedure.
