Removal of the inner cover damages the securing features which will result in rattles and poor appearance when the trim is refitted Cause. Securing features are one time fit only. Action Should a retailer need to remove sliding roof inner cover, lever it off and then discard as it is a non serviceable part. Recover any detached securing features before reassembly. Replace with new part upon reassembly. New part clips into place. Start refitting from rear and work forwards. See attached file for photographs of trim.
