BACKGROUND
The MIL comes on with DTC P0035 (turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve circuit high) and the message REV
Match System Problem / Emissions System Problem on the MID.
California residents only: This product update also affects emissions. Have the service advisor give the certificate to the
customer as proof that the recall was completed.
CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION
Owners of affected vehicles will be sent a notification of this campaign.
Do an iN VIN status inquiry to make sure the vehicle is shown as eligible.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Due to heat and the natural frequency of the harness, the coupler wire oscillates, causing an open circuit to the
turbocharger bypass control solenoid valve.
CORRECTIVE ACTION
Replace the engine wire harness with the updated kit.
