If the On Demand Multi-Use Display™ (ODMD) isn't responding to touch or is freezing up, the reason could be there's
debris lodged in the gap between the touch screen and the bezel. Lodged debris contacting the screen can cause a
false input, resulting in this issue. And since that gap widens and narrows with cabin temperature, this issue can be
intermittent, especially in cold weather.
Before diving into any heavy troubleshooting, try swiping a business card through that gap several times, particularly
along the bottom, working your way all around the gap. This should clear out any lodged debris.
If that fixes the issue, you're good to go. But if it doesn't, then continue with normal system troubleshooting.
