Complaint:
- Engine warning lamp in instrument cluster
- P170400 Fault code current/stored in CDI control unit
Cause:
This complaint is not related to hardware. Do not replace any parts.
Remedy:
#1 - Perform guided tests and address any other fault codes first.
#2 - Ensure compaign 2018010005 has been performed.
#3 - Ensure current software is either A642 903 19 13 or A642 903 20 13.
#4 - If software matches above and campaign 201801005 has been performed, but fault code returns - open PTSS
case.
