The Applied Vehicles have been updated and Claims Information has been added. No other changes were made. Please discard previous versions of this bulletin. APPLIED VEHICLE: APPLIED TRANSMISSION: APPLIED ENGINE: 2013 – 2018 Sentra (B17) CVT MRA8DE SERVICE INFORMATION: The forward end of the rear torque rod on applied vehicles may develop a crack in the rubber during its normal service life. Refer to Figures 2 and 3 on page 2 for the rear torque rod location on the vehicle. Figure 1 shows a crack in the rubber of the forward end of the rear torque rod that does not extend the complete circumference (all the way around) the rubber. This may occur during normal service life. Only a portion of the rubber is cracked Do not replace the torque rod for a crack that does not extend all the way around the rubber part of the forward end. Figure 1 NOTE: For 2013-2014 Sentra with a rough idle, refer to NTB15-057. CLAIMS INFORMATION If a rear torque rod is replaced under warranty, it may be requested for inspection and is subject to chargeback if the part is found to be within normal service condition.
