INTRODUCTION
Infiniti is conducting this voluntary service campaign on certain specific model year 2017 QX60 and QX60
Hybrid vehicles. The engine coolant in the radiator will be drained and refilled. This service will be performed
at no charge to the customer for parts or labor.
IDENTIFICATION NUMBER
Infiniti has assigned identification number PC653 to this campaign. This number must appear on all
communication and documentation of any nature dealing with this campaign.
DEALER RESPONSIBILITY
Dealers are to repair vehicles falling within range of this campaign that enter the service department. This
includes vehicles purchased from private parties, vehicles presented by transient (tourists) owners, and
vehicles in a dealer’s inventory.
Infiniti Bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians, not 'do-it-yourselfers'. Qualified technicians are properly trained
individuals who have the equipment, tools, safety instruction, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. NOTE: If you believe that
a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, DO NOT assume that it does. See your Infiniti retailer to determine if this
applies to your vehicle.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
IMPORTANT: Follow all warnings, cautions, and notes in the Electronic Service Manual (ESM) when
working on or near the cooling system, including coolant.
1. Drain and refill the radiator with Nissan Blue Extended Life Antifreeze/Coolant (see PARTS
INFORMATION).

Make sure the radiator drain plug and O-ring seal are clean before reinstalling.

For QX60: Refer to the ESM. Type “coolant” in the Title Search box, select Search, and then select the
link “Changing Engine Coolant.”
 Make sure the radiator drain plug and O-ring seal are clean before reinstalling.
 Radiator drain plug torque: 1.96 N•m (0.20 kg-m, 17.35 in lbs)

For QX60 Hybrid: Refer to the ESM. Type “coolant” in the Title Search box, select Search, and then
select the links “Draining” and “Refilling.”
 Make sure the radiator drain plug and O-ring seal are clean before reinstalling.
 Radiator drain plug torque: 1.96 N•m (0.20 kg-m, 17.35 in lbs)
