Cause: Multiple process improvements have been implemented at the supplier to mitigate the likelihood of this complaint. Action: It is possible the thermostat may suffer consequential damage during a severe overheat event. Investigate and repair any other possible causes of an overheat condition that may exist on the vehicle. Should the VIN reported fall beyond the assured VINs in the applicability table of this document, please raise an EPQR and include pictures of the leak.
