Issue
JLR Quality assurance are currently investigating issues related to the
cup holder release button being inoperative or sticking (please see
attached picture).
Cause
Currently under investigation.
Action
Dealers within the UK
Before attempting any repair please submit an EPQR.
Quality Engineering would like the opportunity to visit the vehicle at
the earliest convenience to the customer and retailer, before any
repair is undertaken.
Dealers outside of the UK
Please do not attempt to release the cup holder. Instead, change the
complete assembly (LR060724 / LR096831) and return the untouched
cup holder assembly through the normal warranty process.
Technicians - Please rate this SSM and provide comments so that
future communications can be improved.
1 = Poor – Basic information provided – The SSM does not help me
resolve the customer concern.
3 = Average – Adequate information provided – The SSM partially
helps me resolve the customer concern.
5 = Excellent – All required information provided to resolve the
customer concern.
