Diagnosis may find P0191-85 stored in conjunction with multiple other codes related
to PCM adaptations. Investigation of the snapshot data for the DTCs stored reveals
that P0191-85 was stored first and fuel trims were near the limits. Perform primary
and secondary diagnosis including electrical circuit tests for the fuel pressure sensor
and smoke test the intake and exhaust systems. For any repair that is made, perform
the drive cycle outlined below for validation of the repair.
1. 8 hour engine off soak of the vehicle
2. Key on engine OFF for ~3 seconds then start vehicle
3. Drive the vehicle and ensure 5 ECO stops complete
4. Check for pending or stored DTCs in the PCM
