Specific information for Region support is provided below.
Condition
There is a possibility that the blower motor fan hub in the involved vehicles was produced with improper dimensions.
A blower motor fan hub with improper dimensions may develop a crack over time. If a vehicle is continuously operated
with this condition, the damage may worsen, leading to an abnormal noise and eventually an inoperable blower motor
fan.
Dealer Notification
The attached dealer letter will be sent to all Toyota dealers on August 16, 2018.
Please reference the attached Dealer Letter for additional details.
Please review this notification with your staff to assure that all relevant personnel have been briefed regarding this
subject.
