Technical Background
If the vehicle comes in with a blower concern, check for DTCs. If DTCs are found, use the table below to diagnose the
concern. Use figures 1 and 2 below for component reference.

Blocked Motor
B10BE96 - Four failure
modes: current limit,
open/short to batt (+), short
or blocked motor, internal
error
Cause
Blocked motor, fan blade separated from motor, fan blade rubbing housing,
blower control module (J126) faulty, blower motor open circuit
1. Check physical condition of blower
2. Ensure 2-pin connector is making proper contact
3. Swap blower control module -J126- if available
“Diag" wire is no longer able to send the digital (Square wave) back to the A/C
control head. Check SC Fuse/power supply for loose pins or open Fuse:
- Power & Ground wiring to (T6t) connector (in general)
B10A115 - Diag circuit
open/short to B+
-
(T10a) connector soft set/not plugged in or loose terminal

(T6t) connector soft set/not plugged in or loose terminal
