• Recall 206602 [USA]: Vehicles that do not meet all regulatory requirements may have an increased risk of injury, crash, or fire.
  Volkswagen group of america, inc. (volkswagen) is recalling certain 2017 touareg gp, tiguan, golf a6, e-golf gp, ccf, 2016-2017 passat gp, 2018-2019 golf r gp, and 2018 atlas vehicles. These internal-use vehicles were sold without confirmation that they were built to all applicable regulatory requirements and may have been modified prior to sale. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of various federal motor vehicle safety standards.

The front driver air bag installed on these vehicles may not be intended for use in vehicles sold in the united states. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of federal motor vehicle safety standard (fmvss) number 208, "occupant crash protection."

• Recall 125287 [USA]: In the event of a crash, if the air bags and/or the seat belt pretensioners do not inflate or function properly, the vehicle occupants have an increased risk of injury.

(volkswagen) is recalling certain model year 2017 audi a7, a4, a6, volkswagen golf and tiguan vehicles and 2016 volkswagen e-golf vehicles for driver frontal air bags, passenger frontal air bags or head air bags that may not deploy properly. Additionally, certain 2017 audi q7, a4 sedan, a4 allroad, and 2018 audi q5 vehicles are being recalled because the seat belt pretensioners may not activate properly.

• Recall 2020468 [Canada]: Lights and instruments
  Issue: on certain vehicles, the esc warning light may not remain on if a fault was detected on the previous key cycle. Instead, the warning light does not turn on until the vehicle starts to move. Canadian regulations require that the esc warning light must turn on when the vehicle is started (under these conditions). Note: this problem can only happen if there is a fault related to the power steering system. The power steering warning light would stay on to advise that there is a fault with the steering system. Safety risk: this small error does not affect vehicle safety. Corrective actions: this is not a recall. The company has made changes to the vehicle software to correct this issue on all new vehicles.

While driving at approx 30 mph slowing down for a red light, on a city street, the panoramic sunroof exploded. Nothing struck the car, no other traffic was within 200 yards, and nothing above. It sounded like a pop, then glass shards fell in rear passenger seating area. No one was injured. Sunroof is raised up, indicating pressure forced it up as opposed to something hitting from above.

I was traveling down a road and my brake gave out, when i had it towed to the dealership they said the inside of the brake vacuume exploded???? I was driving with my daughter and we could not stop. I have never had brake issues with this car and we almost ended up being smashed in an intersection going downhill with no brakes i wrote to vw ceo and he never responded. They made me pay for this when it was not fair.

My airbag light has gone off for about 2 weeks now. There is no reason why it should be off because i have not been in an accident or done anything differently. I do not feel comfortable driving my car and have looked into recalls. Turns out there has been several recalls for volkswagen tiguans 2017 in regards to recalls so i want this checked out asap. *tr

The airbag light is on in my vehicle and it was not listed on the airbag recall list. Has there been an unpublished update on the recall? The car was idling in driveway.

Under the hood fire protection materials coming off will not stay in place. Notify port charlotte volkswagon for them to directly see. And they had to replace the ignition switch had gone bad . Ask why was there not a way to crank the car with a key if the keyless button goes out. They said call a tow truck. I said what if a women and children where in danger and can not get a hold of a tow truck. Answers we can do nothing about that. Now that is schooling.
