ElsaPro Infomedia Icons Grayed Out
Service Information has received notification that some users are experiencing inactive or grayed
out infomedia icons (i.e., repair manuals, technical service handbook) after entering a VIN in
ElsaPro.
If this happens, press the F5 Key or the Refresh button in your browser and re-enter the VIN. The
infomedia icons should now be active.
If this does not resolve the issue, please submit an ElsaPro Feedback.
Service Information is working with both local IT and IT in Germany to identify the root issue and
repair it as quickly as possible.
Workshop Equipment Tool Storage Application
VWGoA has been working on a Tool Storage Application (TSA) necessary to address the tool
storage management needs of today’s dealerships.
Due to the popularity of the application during dealer meeting demonstrations and positive
feedback from pilot dealers, VWGoA is proud to announce that we will begin the rollout of the
Workshop Equipment Tool Storage Application in late June, 2015.
This new application provides enhanced functionality and many custom features to help
effectively manage your service tools & equipment inventory.
Application functionality highlights include:

Tool check out / in.

Customizable tool placement.

Ability to upload optional and locally procured tools.

Adaptable features to suit individual dealer’s needs.

Accountability and usage reports.

Dealer administrator and Technician login management rights.

Downloadable minimum required tool list.

Accessed through the Service Tools & Equipment website.
In the coming weeks, stay tuned for updates regarding rollout details, quick start guide and
phased application enhancements.

On some vehicles, contamination due to improper nickel plating of certain
subcomponents within the fuel pump may cause excessive pump friction, potentially
resulting in an inoperative fuel pump. If the fuel pump becomes inoperative due to
this condition, it may result in a no-start condition or a stall while driving without
warning, and without the ability to restart the vehicle. An engine stall without
warning while driving can increase the risk of a crash.
