Tech Tips Date: March 13, 2015 TT 17-15-01 2014-2017 1.8T CPKA/CPRA Engine Codes-Oil Pressure Regulation/Retraction Activating February 10, 2017: Update to Model Year Applicability. After replacement of an engine assembly, cylinder head or turbocharger, it is necessary to limit the oil pressure regulation for approximately 1000 km. High friction is taken into account during the break in period of new engine components. Oil Pressure Regulation/Retraction Activating must be performed after replacement. This results in higher oil pressure at lower RPM ranges during break in. Go to ECM control module OBD select adaptation. Select Engine run-in oil pressure.
