Technical Background
When trying to adjust the brightness on a 2017 vehicle equipped with a MIB2 infotainment system, the
adjustment menu may not populate when pressing the menu button.
Service
Place the vehicle in reverse with your foot on the
brake to allow the rearview camera to activate.

Technical Tips
Select the menu button, it will disappear.
Slowly move your hands towards the infrared bar
and the menu should populate. Note that you may
have to place your hand on the shifter and then back
up to the infrared bar.

Select the menu option at the bottom of the screen.
Select the wanted adjustment and use the slider to
make the needed adjustment.
