When installing a new engine for any reason, it is important to ensure that all components being transferred from old
engine to new engine are cleaned and inspected before installation. Examples of parts that should be inspected
include, but are not limited to, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, oil cooler and filter flange assembly, catalytic
converter (remove and tap test to check for metal debris), and the turbocharger and oil feed lines.
