Service If you suspect that the Steering Column Lock has either been replaced or updated recently: Check the coding in the ESCL control module -J764- to ensure that it is correct. This can be performed through either GFF, under address 2B, or through SVM by selecting 2B under the code control module selection. Once the GFF test plan has been completed: Verify that the ESCL has been coded.
