Delivery Stop - R57 Convertible Top Closing

Advisors and Shop Foremen,
A Delivery Stop has been issued on certain 2014 model year MINI Cooper, Cooper S and John
Cooper Works Convertibles produced between July and October. During closing, it is possible that
the convertible top locating pin is not correctly positioned in the landing plate, at the top of the Apillar (passenger’s side).
Affected vehicles in dealer inventory must not be delivered until a Service Action has been
completed. A Service Information bulletin with complete details will be issued by Monday,
November 4. No parts are needed for this issue.
A chassis number list of affected vehicles can be found as an attachment to this message.
