INFORMATION
Some customers may complain about a harsh 1-2 shift on acceleration. If there is no
check engine malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illuminated or other engine performance
related issue, refer the customer to their closest Allison authorized repair location.
Allison has released 181 level and beyond calibrations that may address this concern.
Be sure to reference Allison Service Information Letter (SIL) 25-1K2K-18 when returning
the vehicle back to the customer. To assist the customer in locating the closest Allison
