TEC145 Water Pump Return
BMW AG has requested the return of the following part numbers:
11 51 8 679 885, 11 51 8 671 654, 64 11 6 834 923,
11 51 8 651 287, 11 51 9 424 349
Stock should not be sold or installed on any vehicle.
Concerned are all parts delivered and shipped so far with production date
10/12/2018 and prior. Parts with production date 10/13/2018 and newer are ok
to use. (Date stamp location shown below)
Please return all part(s) to your facing Regional Distribution Center (RDC). Submit for
return using a YR26 damage claim with order reason BM2. A valid BMW delivery and
delivery item number must be entered, and TEC145 must appear in the text of your
TEC claim.
TEC145 is valid from November 06, 2018, through November 20, 2018. The
deadline for filing a claim under TEC145 is November 20, 2018. All parts must
be returned to your facing RDC no later than December 04, 2018.
Please reorder the same part number if needed.
Date shown in image = 18-10-03 (YY-MM-DD)
Parts with production date 18-10-13 and
newer are good to use.
