A water leak into the front left and/or right footwells may be evident.
CAUSE:
This may be caused by insufficient sealing of the climate control system drain tube.
ACTION:
Should a customer express this concern, follow the Inspection, and if necessary Workshop, Procedure
below.

Open the front left and right doors.

Inspect the front left and right footwell carpet for water ingress.
If the carpet(s) does not show evidence of water ingress, do not continue with this
Technical Bulletin as the customer concern is not directly related to its content.

Only if required: submit a TA (Technical Assistance) request for further
assistance.
If the carpet(s) does show evidence of water ingress, go to the Workshop Procedure
below.
WORKSHOP PROCEDURE:

Remove the floor console side trim (see the TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-12: Instrument
Panel and Console - Removal and Installation - Floor Console side Trim Panel).

Remove the left trim panel.

Position the left footwell carpet to the side.

Remove and discard the left drain tube.

Install the new left drain tube.
