Service Technical Information 144/18 ENU WJ75 5 WJ75 - Checking Towing Lug and Replacing it if Necessary (Workshop Campaign) Model Line: Cayenne (9YA) Model Year: As of 2018 up to 2019 Subject: Towing lug Information: Due to a control error while completing the tool kit, there is a possibility that a towing lug with right thread instead of left thread was supplied with the affected vehicles. As a result, the supplied towing lug cannot be installed as described in the Owner's Manual. The vehicle cannot therefore be towed and cannot tow other vehicles using this towing lug. Remedial Action: Check towing lug and replace it if necessary. Affected Vehicles: Only the vehicles assigned to the campaign (see also PIWIS Vehicle information). This campaign affects 31 vehicles in North America. Parts required No parts are required for checking the towing lug.
