Engine cannot be started or engine running complaints with Fault Code P062700 current and/or stored in FSCU
(N118)
Cause:
Various
Remedy:
-Perform guided test for fault code P062700 in FSCU and perform repairs based on results.
If guided test does not provide specific remedy:
1-Inspect the following and repair as necessary:
-Sockets 3,4,5 and 6 at FSCU(N118) connector 1 for loose tension or incorrect crimping.
-Visible area of wiring between FSCU(N118) and fuel pump(M3/6) for damage.
-Sockets 5,7,9 and 13 at fuel pump(M3/6) for loose tension or incorrect crimping.
2-If all checks performed above are OK:
-Replace sockets 3,4,5 and 6 at FSCU(N118) connector 1.
-Replace sockets 5,7,9 and 13 at fuel pump(M3/6).
-Check for and install SW update for FSCU(N118).
3-If fault returns after above procedure create a PTSS. Include the following:
-Initial quick test
-Control unit log of FSCU
-Description of driving scenario where fault occurs
