Warranty Information General Communication Number: VWC-18-12 Subject: Date: Dec. 17, 2018 INACTIVE - Pre-existing MIL-On Conditions in Regards to the TDI Approved Emissions Modification (AEM) for 2.0L TDI Generation 1 and 3 Customer Vehicles This document conveys Volkswagen Warranty general information. With the closure of the Claim Period for 2.0L TDI Generation 1 and Generation 3 vehicles under the Class Action Settlement, Customer owned vehicles will no longer be eligible for consideration of the Preexisting MIL-On Conditions Process effective December 30th, 2018. To ensure the customer has adequate time to schedule an appointment, be aware that an approved Preexisting MIL-On Conditions claim must be submitted in SAGA with a reception date no later than December 30th, 2018. All pre-existing conditions from the December 31st, 2018 forward will be the responsibility of the customer. Refer to the Revised Communication VWC-17-11 Pre-existing MIL-On Conditions in Regards to the TDI Approved Emissions Modification (AEM) for only 2.0L TDI Generation 2 and all 3.0L TDI Customer Vehicles as this has been updated in WISE.
