INFORMATION
Recently, the essential tools – DPF Injector Cleaning Kit (EN-52575), Injector Cleaner Accessory Kit (EN52575-50), and Injector Seal Installer and Sizer (J-46911) -- were shipped to Isuzu dealers. Isuzu has
developed a procedure to remove the carbon buildup from the DPF Fuel Injector tip and to maintain the
injector performance level. These essential tools are: Kit 1 – an ultrasonic cleaning machine, and support
rack (see Figure 1), Kit 2 – a stand with base, arm with clamp, brass bristle brush, and Pyrex beaker (see
Figure 2), and Kit 3 – an injector seal protector, seal pusher and seal sizer (see Figure 3).
DPF Injector Cleaning Kit EN-52575, DPF Injector Cleaner Accessory Kit EN-525750-50, and Injector
Seal Installer and Sizer J-46911 combine to make a complete kit for cleaning. The essential tools are
used on a bench top (see Figures 1, 2, & 3). Refer to the appropriate service manual for information on
when and how to perform the DPF Injector Cleaning procedure.
