Condition
Some customers may comment on the operation or performance of the CVT7
transmission and/or the SES light is illuminated.
Cause
Technicians may nd codes P0871 or P2714 set in the TCM.
Correction:
If codes P0871 or P2714 is found to be set in the TCM please clear the codes and road test the vehicle.
If the codes do not reset no repairs should be performed and the vehicle can be returned to the customer.
If the codes reset replace the transmission uid pressure switch following SI document 5151272.
If the vehicle is released to the customer because the codes did not reset during the road test and later returns
with the same concern and codes P0871 or P2714 have reset replace the transmission uid pressure switch
following SI document 5151272.
At this time the pressure switch must be ordered from the WPC using the following form and ordering part WPC
833
This P/I will be updated or advanced to a TSB, if needed.
