2011 CHEVROLET MALIBU with 43070.0 miles

I am reporting this incident although it is a little over 3 years old, i was not aware of this website when this happened, because i feel it is related to the complaint i recently submitted, complaint number: 11045010, plus Chevrolet needs to be held accountable. On october 6th, 2014 at about 2pm i am getting on the expressway as i am about to merge with traffic and start to acceleration i feel a surge and than the check engine light comes on. When i am able to i pull over to the shoulder and contact the shop where i take my car to be serviced and set up an appointment to bring my car in the next morning. Brach's auto runs a engine diagnostics test and the codes are P0700 and P2714. The manager asks if my car is still under any warranty and it was still under the powertrain warranty so he suggests i contact Chevrolet. I first contact webb chevy oak lawn who was not able to give me an appointment until 2 weeks away so i contacted the Chevrolet customer care and spoke with a rep who helped me to set up an appointment with kingdom Chevrolet and to receive a gm rental. I was not allowed to use the licensed shop where i have my car serviced and they refused to pay the engine diagnostics fee i had already had completed. Kingdom Chevrolet came up with the same diagnostic codes as brach's auto and suggested a throttle body service and fuel injection service for running issues. After the work was completed i took it back to brach's auto to have them check it out and it was suggested that i do the throttle body service which i had completed.

2010 CHEVROLET MALIBU with 55000.0 miles

During driving, vehicle slips in/out/past 2nd gear (or no 2nd gear is available). No 6th gear available. Happens constantly in city or highway traffic. There is a manufacturer recall (dtc P2714) on other 2010 Chevrolet of the same model as well as several others for this same issue but the manufacturer states that the recall does not cover my vin.

2008 SATURN VUE with 94446.0 miles

Transmission fault and/or check engine light with code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723 on Saturn Vue vehicles with a 6speed automatic transmission may develop one or more of the following faults related to a broken 35r clutch wave plate inside the transmission: illumination of the check engine light with code P0716, P0776, P0717, P0777, P2714, P2715, and/or P02723, loss of reverse gear, slipping or harsh 3rd or 5th gear shift. Removal and dis-assembly of the transmission will be required to replace the broken 35r wave plate. It is also extremely important that all debris from the failed part be cleaned from the transmission while it is disassembled in order to try and prevent future problems this affected 4 model years: 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2009 why wasn't a recall done on this? Now i'm out of pocket for the expense of replacing my transmission.

2008 SATURN OUTLOOK with 76000.0 miles

I was driving home doing 35mph, when my car would not shift into gear and the engine light came on. I was able to get it home doing 5mph. My husband came out to take it for a drive and will not go into reverse. We had it put on the computer and a couple of different codes showed one of them being P0776. I have been looking on line and found many other complaints with this same problem. 2008 SATURN VUE with 74000.0 miles

2007 TOYOTA TUNDRA with 140000. miles

My check engine light has come on. As well as the lights stating the vehicle stability control and traction control systems have been disabled. The transmission will not shift out of third gear and the vsc being off is causing an unsafe driving condition due to slipping tires around corners at normal speeds. Upon checking the engine code P2714 and P0751 i have come to find out there is an internal Toyota technical service bulletin circulating their dealership service departments dating back to november 28, 2007 when this issue was first discovered. The bulletin is named tc017-07. Also upon further investigation i have found numerous posts about this code and the exact issues my vehicle suffers from on multiple Toyota Tundra message and internet chat groups. This is a very serious issue which could easily cause loss of life or property if these vehicles with this issue are suddenly prone to the vsc and transmission acting abnormally. This issue for me came up very suddenly with no prior warning as the dash lights came in while driving. I will be asking totota to fix this issue at their cost with the remedy they describe in their service bulletin. The remedy they recommend is to replace the transmission and reprogram the ecm.

2007 SATURN OUTLOOK with 54000.0 miles

Issue began as a jerky movement in reverse. A few days later, high engine rpms were noticed during acceleration which eventually led to the check engine light being lit and the transmission being disengaged. No gears were operating and car was able to be pulled off the main roads with no incidents. Many online forums describe a similar issue with the gmc acadia, chevrolet traverse, and buick enclave as well and across several model years for each vehicle.
