Bulletin No.: PIC6267A Published date: 12/13/2018 Preliminary Information PIC6267A Horn too Sensitive or Sounds Constantly Models Brand: Chevrolet Model: Cruze Model Years: 2016 - 2018 VIN: from All Engine: to All All Transmissions: All Involved Region or Country North America Condition Some customers my comment on a constant horn and/or that the horn is too sensitive. Cause The Steering Wheel Air Bag contains the horn contacts and may not be properly seated on the horn pads formed into the steering wheel. Correction: Carefully remove the steering wheel air bag, refer to SI (Service Information) for the removal procedure and inspect horn contacts and wiring for proper routing. Carefully reinstall the driver air bag onto the steering wheel and retest. If the issue still persists it may be necessary to replace the steering wheel. Note: It should not be necessary to replace the steering wheel air bag.
