Readiness Status Will Not Set Model(s) Jetta, Golf, Beetle, Beetle Convertible, Passat Year Eng. Code Trans. Code VIN Range From VIN Range To 2013-2018 CCTA, CBFA, CBPA, CPRA, CPKA, CPPA, CPLA, CXBA, CXBB, CXCA, CXCB, DDSA, DDSB All All All Technical Background Readiness status will not set. Service Check the Readiness status with a scan tool. If it is found that Fuel System Monitor is not set, perform the following: Fuel Cut-Off Monitoring Test: Road test and accelerate vehicle to an engine speed of 4,000 RPM. Lift off the throttle and allow the vehicle to decelerate without braking input until the engine speed is around 1,200 RPM. Repeat test up to 5 times and continue to Catalyst Monitoring. Catalyst Monitoring Test: Road test and accelerate vehicle smoothly to 50-55 mph.
