Technical Background
The following DTCs P2400 and/or P2404 may be set by faulty Coolant Pump Change Over Valve.
Service
The coolant pump has a vacuum controlled servo to control the flow of coolant. If the diaphragm fails, coolant can get
into the vacuum supply line for the Leak Detection Pump (LDP). With a hand held vacuum tool, apply vacuum to the
coolant pump vacuum port. If it will not hold vacuum, replace the coolant pump and the vacuum supply line as
necessary and retest operation.
