Reason for block
Complaint:
Creaking noises at driver's seat when cornering
Cause:
Creaking noises can occur at the front seat cover due to the material pairing between the seat belt buckle and the seat cover.
Remedy:
Check whether the seat belt buckle is resting on the seat cover and whether this is causing the noise. If so, line the
seat belt buckles on both front seats with felt according to the template (Pic.1).
Important: The label (Pic.2, area shaded in black) on the seat belt buckle must not be lined with felt. It is not necessary to remove the seat belt buckles.
Only the felt with the part number A000 983 89 10 may be used. Any other felt will not provide a lasting remedy.
IT IS NOT NECESSARY TO REPLACE THE SEAT BELT BUCKLES!
