CAUSE: This may be caused by a CCF (Car Configuration File) error. ACTION: Should a customer express this concern, follow the Diagnostic Procedure(s) below. DESCRIPTION SRO TIME (HOURS) CONDITION CODE CAUSAL PART Car Configuration File (CCF) - Update ECU 86.99.94 0.2 04 T4A26393 Read and clear fault codes 86.99.78 0.2 04 T4A26393 NOTE: Normal Warranty procedures apply. DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE: CAUTIONS: A Jaguar Land Rover-approved battery power supply must be connected to the vehicle startup battery. All ignition ON/OFF requests MUST be performed; failure to do these steps may cause damage to vehicle control modules. NOTE: Use the Jaguar Land Rover claims submission system for Field Service Action program eligibility requiring a CCF update. If eligible, perform and claim the update as per that program using the latest PATHFINDER software. 1 2 Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved battery power supply to the vehicle startup battery. Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session. 3 NOTE: The Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic equipment will read the correct Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) for the current vehicle and automatically take the vehicle out of Transit mode (if required). Follow all on-screen instructions. 4 Select Service. 5 Select Select CCF. 6 Select Copy from AS BUILT. 1 Follow the on-screen instructions until the application finishes successfully. 7 Exit the current session. 1 If required, reset the vehicle to Transit mode. 2 Select the Exit icon. 8 CAUTION: After the CCF update, the vehicle may display a 'Brake Pedal Reduced Feeling' warning message on the Instrument Cluster. NOTE: The vehicle will take approximately 6 minutes to enter sleep mode. Disconnect the diagnostic equipment and battery power supply from the vehicle. https://topix.landrover.jlrext.com/topix/content/document/view?id=967505 4/6 3/13/2019 JTB00681NAS2 - Incorrect Function of Climate Seat Control from Touchscreen | TOPIx 1 If the message 'Brake Pedal Reduced Feeling' is not displayed, return the vehicle to the customer. 2 If the message 'Brake Pedal Reduced Feeling' is displayed, perform a vehicle sleep cycle. Switch the ignition OFF. Close all doors, hood, and tailgate. Lock the vehicle. Wait for the hazard warning switch illumination to extinguish. Unlock the vehicle. 9 Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved battery power supply to the vehicle startup battery. 10 Connect the Jaguar Land Rover-approved diagnostic equipment to the vehicle and begin a new session. 11 12 Follow all on-screen instructions. NOTE: DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) U2012-87 may be stored in the Brake Booster Module (BBM).
