Check Engine Light with P0521-85 Set in the PCM
Customer Voice:
– Check engine light appears on the instrument cluster- in some cases
intermittently.
Technical Description:
– P0521-85 is set in the PCM for Oil Pressure Sensor Range/Performance
Status:
– Under Investigation
– Follow TOPIx steps for diagnosis, looks for signs of oil leaks around the oil pump/
sensor. If none are found, perform circuit checks at the sensor and pump. Please
submit a TA and follow LTS instructions on next steps. Include the current oil
level in the vehicle and last service record in your submission, as well as a
picture of the filter. Should you replace any parts for this concern, please hold
onto the parts (pump, sensor & filter assembly) and submit an EPQR with your
parts manager mailing information.
