QR-079 POWERGEAR® POWER UP/POWER DOWN LEVELING JACK INSPECTION LEVELING AND STABILIZATION Introduction This notice is sent to inform you of important product information concerning your motorhome. Lippert Components, Inc. is contacting owners of certain model year 2016-2019 diesel, Class A motorhomes manufactured through March 20, 2019 by REV Recreation Group, with Power Gear Power Up/Power Down leveling jacks. Potential Product List: 2016-2019 American Dream 2016-2019 American Eagle 2016-2018 American Revolution 2016 American Allegiance 2016 American Heritage 2016 American Tradition 2016 Monaco Dynasty 2018-2019 Monaco Marquis 2018-2019 Monaco Signature 2019 Discovery LXE Purpose Fig. 1 The purpose of this document is to assist the coach owner inspect LCI/Power Gear Power Up/ Power Down leveling jacks for common wear versus abnormal leakage. Note: See indicated figures for close-up views. Note: Use caution when performing your inspection. It is not intended for you to get under your motorhome. Make sure you secure the keys and the parking brake is engaged before looking at your leveling jacks. A Fig. 2 Inspection External Leakage Visually inspect jack for external leakage (Fig. 1). For best results, run the auto-level and autoretract sequence twice before performing visual inspection. If leaking persists, see the Action Needed section for information on ordering replacement jacks. Fig. 4 Action Needed If there is clear evidence of a concern needing jack replacement, please contact your dealer to schedule an appointment. The inspection and any potential replacements of the subject jack(s) changes is offered free of charge to owners of vehicles listed in this document for a period of one year from the original mailing date of the REV Recreation Group letter related to this QR - 079. If you are unsure if a concern needs further action, please submit an e-mail to LCI at [email protected] and type REV RV Leveling Jack Inspection in the subject line. Please include the following with your e-mail: • Clear photos of the ID tag on affected jacks (See Fig. 1A). • Clear photos of leak areas along with any pooling on the jack pads. A light oil ring on the rod at any jack position is normal and not considered to be a leak. No repair necessary. • Clear photo of your Vehicle Identification Tag or include the below information when submitting an e-mail to LCI. • Full 17-digit VIN • Model of Unit You may also contact LCI via phone by calling (574) 537-8900.
