There may be a concern where coolant heat shrink clamps need to be replaced for a
coolant leak and/or for a service repair.
Cause
Di cult to get the heat shrink clamps to seal the coolant hose.
Correction:
When possible use the heat shrink clamps in the places that they are called for.
Heat shrink clamp
There may be location that may not be accessible to get a heat gun to.
For locations that are inaccessible to a heat gun, use hose clamp p/n 1518389C1, torque @ 9-11 Nm (79 - 97 lb
in).
This PI will be deleted as Service information is updated.
