Complaint:
A "Remote Access" selection is present in the workshop menu of instrument cluster. This function is not enabled and
is not described in the workshop literature.

Cause:
The user interface for development could not be removed from the following instrument cluster software variants:
- N133/1 Instrument cluster IC177, software releases from E026.8 (18/23/002) with CODE 809+059 (modification year
18/2)
- N133/1 Instrument cluster IC177, software releases from E035.4 (19/03/003) with CODE 800 (modification year
19/1)
Note: Vehicles without CODE 809+059 or 800 may also have received an affected software release between
18/23/002 and 19/11/004 as part of a repair. Therefore the selection may appear in these vehicles as well.
Remedy:
The "Remote Access" selection in the workshop menu should be ignored. The option will be removed from the instrument cluster software from E043.6 (19/11/004) and subsequent releases available from modification year 19/2 (CODE
800+050).
