SERVICE INFORMATION
If replacement of a Front Combination Headlamp assembly (headlight assembly) is necessary, for the applied
vehicles, the locating bracket (if present) on the new replacement headlight assembly must first be removed
before installation.
Inspect the new replacement headlight assembly and confirm if a locating bracket is attached, with a Torx
screw, on top in the center (see Figure 1).
Is a locating bracket present?

NO: This bulletin does not apply. Continue
with the installation of the new replacement
headlight assembly.


1. Using a T10 Torx screwdriver, remove
the locating bracket attached to the topcenter of the replacement headlight
assembly (see Figure 1).
2. Discard the locating bracket and Torx
screw.
3. Continue the installation of the
replacement headlight assembly.
NOTE: Refer to the Electronic Service Manual
(ESM) for the procedure to remove or install a
headlight assembly.

CAUTION: Take care when installing the headlight assembly so that the painted surface of the fender is not
damaged.

Black electrical tape can be used to protect the edge of the fender while installing the headlight
assembly.
