** SOLUTION **
Cause
Vehicles built between 1 March 2018 and 28 May 2019 and equipped with a 13 liter
engine may experience coolant leakage found on the front right side of the engine. It has
been found that some coolant pump housings were manufactured out of specification.
Solution
Vehicles affected by this issue will show coolant runoff on the front rights side of the
engine. The likely area coolant will be found is highlighted below:
The joint between the coolant pump housing and oil cooler duct cover should be checked:
If a vehicle presents with a coolant leak in the area shown and the source of
the leak is traced to the surfaces between the oil cooler duct cover and the
coolant pump housing:
• Replace the coolant pump cover.
• Replace the seal between the oil cooler duct cover and the coolant pump.
Note: Ensure the seal is properly seated when reconnecting the housing and duct cover.
If the seal is improperly seated, leakage may persist after repairs are complete.
