Required S209 Under Spoiler Installation
We are excited about the upcoming launch of the STI S209! Please note - before these vehicles
can be retailed to owners, the under spoilers must be installed prior to delivery. They cannot be
installed at the factory nor the port due to the already low ground clearance. This is a
compliance issue for certification. Here are the details:

The STI S209 Front Under Spoiler will be put into the vehicle prior to shipment for
installation at the retailer (they will not be shipped separately).
These parts must be installed onto the vehicle upon arrival.
The units will be shipped with the “W” sticker, signifying the unit needs attention by the
retailer.
The warranty claim must be submitted prior to delivery and RDR of the
vehicle. The RDR system will not allow the vehicle to be retailed without an
approved claim in the system.
These parts are included in the MSRP of the vehicle and must be installed by the retailer
prior to sale. The retailer will be reimbursed labor time for installation via the warranty
claims system using the following claim information:
Labor Description

The part numbers are as follows:

• STI Under Spoiler - Front: E2410VA030
Installation instructions for the under spoiler will be included with the part in the vehicle. The
instructions are also included on the subsequent pages of this announcement for reference.
Questions about warranty coding should be directed to the Claims Helpline at 1-866-SUBARU2
(1-866-782-2782). Other questions should be directed to your DSM/DPSM.
