Customer states:
 The Adaptive Cruise Assist system is not available. After a short time, the adaptive cruise assist becomes
available again. An ignition cycle is not necessary.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC is stored in the control module for laserscanner, J1122 (address word 00CD):
 DTC C12EBF1 (laser for adaptive cruise control, malfunction) with symptom code 11567120.
Technical Background
A software bug in the control module for laserscanner.

Explain to the customer that a solution is forthcoming and that no repairs are necessary at this point. Do not
replace any components for this condition since this will not resolve the customer’s concern.

Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in
AccessAudi (under Related Links >> Service), or through the Technical Assistance page in Elsa.
