Claim using Sundry Code ‘ZZZ001’. The allowance for M10 grub screws may only be claimed 1 time per 10 vehicles. SERVICE INSTRUCTION: NOTE: Some steps in this service instruction may not be applicable to certain vehicle variants due to transmissions mountings being installed in the areas shown. 1. Remove the engine undershield (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 501-02: Front End Body Panels - Removal and Installation - Engine Undershield). 2. Identify the root cause of the transmission oil leak. If the transmission oil leak is from the area shown, continue to step 4. NOTE: Make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. Apply Loctite 542 or equivalent to the new grub screw and install the new grub screw. Identify the root cause of the transmission oil leak. If the transmission oil leak is from the area shown, continue to step 6. If the transmission oil leak is not from the area shown, continue to step 7. NOTE: Make sure the area is clean and free from foreign material. Apply Loctite 542 or equivalent to the new grub screw and install the new grub screw. The grub screw must be installed flush with the surface of the transmission casing. 7. NOTE: The Loctitie should be allowed to cure for 4 hours before the oil level check procedure is completed. Check the transmission oil level and fill as required (see TOPIx Workshop Manual section 307-01: General Procedures - Transmission Fluid Level Check). 8.
