2008-2009 Eos Service Reminder Reset
Resetting the service interval display
If the schedule maintenance service was not done by a Volkswagen dealer, the service interval display
function must be reset as follows:

With the ignition off, press and hold the 0.0 trip odometer reset button.
Switch the ignition on. The service interval function is now in reset mode.
Let go of the 0.0 button and, within 20 seconds, briefly press the MIN clock reset button.
After a short time, the screen switches back to the normal display. The reset mode is cancelled
if the MIN button is not pressed within 20 seconds, or if the vehicle is driven before resetting is
complete.
Tips
Do not reset the service interval function between scheduled maintenance intervals; doing so will result
in an incorrect display.
2010-2011 Eos Service Reminder Reset
Resetting the Service Interval Display
If service was not performed by a Volkswagen dealer, the display must be reset as follows:

Use the rocker switch on the windshield wiper lever or the buttons in the multi-function steering
wheel (where applicable) to select the Settings menu.
In the Service submenu mark the Reset menu item and press the OK button in the windshield
wiper lever or the multi-function steering wheel (where applicable) to reset the Service
Interval Display. Confirm the subsequent security check with OK .
Tips
• If you reset the service display yourself, the next service is displayed after 9,320 miles (15,000 km) or
one year. The service interval is not determined individually.
• Do not reset the service interval function between scheduled maintenance intervals; doing so will
result in an incorrect display.
