If this happens, the warning message "Engine control fault" will be displayed in the instrument cluster. Furthermore, the "Auto Start/Stop" and "Adaptive cruise control (ACC)" functions will no longer be available. To prevent this from happening, the pulse sender must be replaced on the affected vehicles. Please arrange for this measure to be carried out on the affected vehicles the next time the vehicles arrive to the dealer.
