Customer states:
 The customer feels a flow of warm air from the panel vents or footwell when the convertible top is open and
the HVAC system is turned off.
 This symptom is intermittent.
Technical Background
There is an intermittent control strategy malfunction under certain atmospheric conditions.
Production Solution
There has been a refinement in the control strategy beginning with SW 161. This was a rolling implementation.
Service
The existing climatronic control module, J255 (address word 0008) cannot be updated and must be
replaced. Refer to the following table:
