Workshop findings: One of the following DTCs may be stored in the control module for laserscanner, J1122 (address word 00CD): DTC C12EBF1 (laser for adaptive cruise control, malfunction) with symptom code 11546627. Or DTC C12EB92 (laser for adaptive cruise control, malfunction) with symptom code 11546631 and/or 11546632. Production Solution Not applicable. Service If DTC C12EB92 is stored: 1. Replace the control module for laserscanner, J1122 (address word 00CD) according to the repair manual. 2. After the parts are replaced, check the software version: SW Version 0205: no further actions necessary. SW Version < 0205: perform the SVM code listed below: Note: If DTC C12EB92 is not stored, there is no need to replace the control module. Please just run the SVM code in that case. SVM Update Instructions: 3. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions. 4. Tip: After the update to SW0205, the DTC C12EBF1 with symptom code 11546627 may still be stored. However, this DTC has no more influence on the system’s functionality after the update and can now be ignored.
