 The intersection/lane change assist sporadically stops working.
One or all of the following messages are shown in the instrument cluster:
 Intersection assist Malfunction! Please go to workshop.
 Lane change and exit warning: Malfunction! Please go to workshop.
 Rear intersection assistant: Malfunction! Please go to workshop.
 Audi pre sense: Malfunction! Please go to workshop.
Workshop findings:
The following DTC may be stored in one of the control modules for lane change assist, J769 or J770 (address
word 003C or 00CF) or front corner radars, J1088 or J1089 (address word 00DB or 00DC):
 DTC C12BFF0 (radar sensors, automatic calibration not possible).
Technical Background
A software bug can cause the automatic calibration to fail.

2. Update the control modules for lane change assist, J769 or J770 (address word 003C or 00CF) or front corner
radars, J1088 or J1089 (address word 00DB or 00DC) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below,
if necessary:
Note:
A high-voltage charger must not be connected during the update. Please only charge the 12V battery!
