 The animation of the OLED taillight cluster does not work.
Technical Background
Optimized software is available for vehicles with option 8SC (OLED rear combination lamp).
Production Solution
New Target Data Container (ZDC) update in the central electrical control module, J519 (address word 0009)
addressed the condition.
Service
For vehicles with option code 8SC, the rear taillight displays an animation when the exit lighting turns off (after
ignition off) OR when locking the vehicle while the lights are still on.
If the customer concern AND the old ZDC are present in the central electrical control module, J519 (address word
0009), then proceed with the software update.
SVM Update Instructions
1. Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.
2. Update the central electrical control module, J519 (address word 0009) using the SVM action code as listed in
the table below, if necessary:
