Read this entire procedure before beginning work.
Use Safe Shop Practices at All Times.
To avoid personal injury:
a. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn. Safety glasses and
protective gloves are required for working with DEF Fluid.
b. Turn the main battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
c. Ensure that both the front and the rear wheels are chocked.
d. Position the ENGINE RUN and ENGINE START switches on the engine
compartment remote control box to the OFF position.
e. Allow enough time for components to cool down prior to working in the engine
compartment.

Procedure
Inspect the tray for any cracks and the slides for smooth operation. If the tray is observed
to be cracked, replace the tray with a new tray, MCI P/N: 07-08-5283. If the slides are
observed to be compromised, replace the slides with a new pair of slides, MCI P/N: 0708-5282.

4.1
Installing angular supports on the first tray
Pull out the tray and place the angular support, MCI P/N: 07-10-1914, below the tray such
that it is 1-1/16” away from the front face of the tray and 5/8” away from each side. Match
drill four holes into the tray.

Install angular support using screws, MCI P/N: 19-1-630, nuts, MCI P/N:19-3-11, and
washers, MCI P/N:19-2-102.
Install the support using

nuts, P/N:19-3-11, and

Place angular support, MCI P/N: 07-10-1914, below the tray such that it is 5/8” away from
the back face of the tray and 1-1/4” away from each side. Match drill four holes into the
tray.

Install angular support using screws, MCI P/N: 19-1-630, nuts, MCI P/N:19-3-11, and
washers, MCI P/N:19-2-102.
Install the support using

If the coach is equipped with a second tray, repeat the steps on the second tray.
Otherwise, continue to section 4.2.
4.2
Installing the locking pin on the RH side bracket
Drill a hole in the RH bracket through the slide and tray using a 3/16 size drill bit at the
location shown below.

Installing the pin on the LH side bracket
Drill a hole in the LH bracket through the slide and tray using a 3/16 size drill bit at the
location shown below.

If the coach is equipped with a second tray, repeat the sections 4.2 and 4.3 on the second
tray. Otherwise, continue to section 5.0

Verification
Ensure the pin inserts and retracts smoothly in the hole. If the pin isn’t smooth, expand
the hole until smooth motion is achieved.
