Blower motor inoperative due to a blown / melted fuse 5E

Technical Description:

Fuse 5E in the EJB is found blown/melted.
Status:

This is currently under investigation.
Before any parts are replaced, please take pictures from different angles of the fuse in
the EJB.
If the fuse is found blown, replace the fuse and check the current draw of the blower
motor.
Verify the manner in which the HVAC is normally operated.
•
HVAC is operated in manual or auto mode?
•
What is the temperature setting normally used?
•
Is the vehicle driven with A/C on and the windows open?
Submit an EPQR with the pictures, customer usage and contact details for the parts
return of the fuse and blower motor.
